Genius Mushrooms Review: The Formula, the Trade-Offs and Our Pick

Advertisement feature by Mind Vitality. We benefit financially from sales of our top recommended products.

Genius Mushrooms has a narrower purpose than many products labeled nootropics: three quantified mushroom ingredients. We prefer ThinkEase when the goal is a broader daily blend. The distinction is the type of purchase, not whether a short label is inherently inadequate.

Our best overall recommendation

ThinkEase

We recommend ThinkEase first for the broader formula with stated doses and clean label. Rootana Pure Mind is second for its smaller serving; our own Mind Vitality formula is third.

What the three mushroom amounts tell you

Each species is listed at 500 mg per daily serving. That clarity makes the specialist formula understandable. ThinkEase contains lion’s mane but does not include the cordyceps and reishi combination, so it would be misleading to call it the same formula with extra ingredients.

The research cannot rank every mushroom product

Lion’s mane research includes small studies with varying preparations. It is useful background, but it does not prove the performance of every commercial blend. [1]

We also avoid treating mycelium as an automatic quality fault. Our preference for ThinkEase comes from its complete nootropic selection and stated forms, rather than a sweeping judgment about the mushroom material in a competitor.

Version assessed: Current three-mushroom capsule label. Comparison basis: 3 veggie capsules.

Amounts refer to the stated serving for each product, not one capsule. Extract weights, raw-herb equivalents and elemental mineral amounts are different measurements.

Genius Mushrooms: Three veggie capsules. Mushroom weights are not assumed equivalent to the same weights of concentrated extracts.

Where our Mind Vitality formula fits

Mind Vitality’s official table includes lion’s mane alongside other botanicals. It is our basic choice for a broader formula, rather than a three-species mushroom supplement. ThinkEase takes first place and Rootana Pure Mind second, with Rootana offering smaller amounts of the same active selection as ThinkEase.

Alternatives: our three recommended options

1 · Best overall

ThinkEase

Our strongest recommendation for the broad, caffeine-free daily formula and explicit ingredient specifications. The four-capsule serving is fully quantified. Its clean-label credentials are clear too: pullulan capsule and rice hull concentrate are the only other ingredients.

2 · Smaller serving · clean profile

Rootana Pure Mind

A strong second choice for a smaller three-capsule serving of the same 16 actives, including 150 mg theanine and 225 mg bacopa. Pure Mind and ThinkEase share the same short pullulan-and-rice-hull other-ingredient list.

3 · Basic alternative

Mind Vitality

Our own botanical option, including the website’s stated 500 mg lion’s mane and 300 mg bacopa. We place it third while recognizing its different selection. The official .co site is the source for this product; the ranking is not a lowest-price claim.

Assessment and suitability
